About ChatWS

ChatWS stands for Chat With Strangers, which is exactly what it does. Open the page, answer three questions, turn on your camera and you are face to face with someone you have never met. Next brings the next one.

The domain has some history. Years ago chatws.com was a text chat where strangers met in the browser, with a guest login, a page of chat rules and a list of questions to break the ice. The new ChatWS keeps the idea and adds the faces: one on one video with a text box alongside, on any phone or laptop, with nothing to install and nothing to sign up for.

There is no payment system on the site. Video goes between you and the person you are matched with and is never recorded or stored by us. If someone is out of line, one tap blocks them and a report sends them to our moderators. ChatWS is for adults only.
